Terry Lynn Nichols, born on April 1, 1955, is an American domestic terrorist known for his involvement in the Oklahoma City bombing. Before his arrest, he held various short-term jobs and met co-conspirator Timothy McVeigh while serving briefly in the U.S. Army. Together, they planned and executed the bombing on April 19, 1995, which killed 168 people. Nichols was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole after a federal trial in 1997 and later convicted of additional charges in 2004, resulting in 161 life sentences without parole, making him one of the most notorious criminals in U.S. history.
