Tetsu Tsukamoto (January 8, 1901 - August 1, 1980) was a Japanese social worker born in Shimane Prefecture. He graduated from Toyo University with a degree in social welfare. In 1923, he assisted children affected by the Great Kanto Earthquake at Hibiya Park. Tsukamoto later became a trainee at the Fujikura Gakuen for the intellectually disabled and worked in Tokyo's social services. After World War II, he played a significant role in elderly welfare and served as the first director of the Shinjuku Living Center. He also held professorships at several universities.
