Tetsuya Miyazaki is a Japanese political philosopher, religious thinker, critic, and commentator born on October 10, 1962. He is the vice president of the research and consulting company Altabrain. Miyazaki has served as a part-time lecturer at Chuo University and a visiting professor at Kyoto Sangyo University, and since April 2018, he has been a visiting professor at Soai University. He identifies as a communitarian and a Buddhist, and he hails from Kurume City in Fukuoka Prefecture. He changed his surname to that of his wife's upon marriage.
