Thad Christopher was an American Negro league outfielder who played in the 1930s and 1940s. Born in Tampa, Florida, he started his career with the New York Black Yankees in 1935 and played until 1945, including a well-known season with the Homestead Grays during their 1943 championship. Primarily an outfielder, he was recognized more for his hitting power than his fielding skills. Christopher also had a fiery temperament, which led to notable altercations. He passed away in 1973 at the age of 60.
