Thea Nathan Meierowitz (born April 16, 1908, in Königsberg, Germany; died November 1998 in Jerusalem) was a pioneer of social work in the Hebrew settlement and later in Israel. She initiated the first sheltered housing projects and promoted social innovation in the field of gerontology. Her contributions significantly impacted the development of elder care and social services in the region.
