Therese McKinley (later Uselmann) was a player in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Born on February 28, 1928, in Chicago, she started playing softball at age nine. In 1949, she played for the Muskegon Lassies, though she struggled with batting, achieving a .099 average. Defensively, she excelled with a .953 fielding percentage. McKinley served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and later earned degrees from DePaul University. She married Duane Uselmann and had five children, and worked in education before retiring in 1995. McKinley passed away on May 26, 2021.
