Thierry Vigneron is a retired French athlete who specialized in pole vaulting. He was born on March 9, 1960, in Gennevilliers, France. Vigneron won a bronze medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and also secured a bronze at the 1979 European Junior Championships. He is a three-time European Indoor Champion, winning titles in 1981, 1984, and 1987. Vigneron's significant achievements include silver medals at the World Championships and the inaugural World Indoor Games. He retired from athletics in 1996.
