Dr. Thomas Burgherr, born on August 1, 1962, is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician. He attended primary school in Wilibäärg and secondary school in Reitnau, later becoming a carpenter. He is part of Burgherr Moosersäge AG, a sawmill company established in the 19th century that specializes in woodwork for houses and other constructions. Politically, he is affiliated with the SVP, having served as the mayor of Wilibäärg and becoming a member of the Aargau cantonal parliament in 1997. He has held the presidency of SVP Aargau since 2012 and was elected to the National Council in 2015 and re-elected in 2019.
