Thomas Ira Chittenden is an American politician from Vermont and member of the Vermont Democratic Party, elected as a Vermont State Senator on November 3, 2020. He also serves as a South Burlington City Councilor since 2015 and has held various positions within the University of Vermont's Faculty Senate. He is known for his ties to Vermont's history and for winning multiple awards from the university for excellence in teaching. He lives in South Burlington with his wife Kimberly and their three children.
