Thomas Funding Therkildsen, born November 3, 1983, in Holstebro, is a Danish journalist and former city council member. He will become the political editor at Jyllands-Posten from April 1, 2024. Funding grew up on a farm and studied at Vejen Gymnasium and TietgenSkolen before obtaining a bachelor's degree in journalism. He was politically active in the Social Democratic Youth and served on the Odense City Council from 2005 to 2010. He has worked in various editorial roles at TV 2, including political reporter and editor, before returning to Jyllands-Posten.
