Thomas John 'Jock' Murray, born in May 1938, is a distinguished Canadian neurologist, medical historian, and author. He began his career in neurology and joined the faculty of medicine at Dalhousie University in 1970, where he founded the Dalhousie Multiple Sclerosis Research Unit. He has held prominent positions including vice-president of the American Academy of Neurology and president of the Canadian Neurological Society. His notable publications include 'Sir Charles Tupper: Fighting Doctor to Father of Confederation' and 'Multiple Sclerosis: The History of a Disease'.
