Thomas Otis Knight was an American fugitive who was executed in Florida for murder after killing a Miami couple in 1974 and a corrections officer while on death row. Knight escaped from jail and committed multiple crimes, leading to his placement on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. He was sentenced to death in 1975 and, after numerous appeals, was executed on January 7, 2014. Knight's case is notable in discussions about capital punishment in the US.
