Thomas Laurie OBE FRICS was an influential Scottish chartered surveyor and arts leader, born on November 11, 1938. He served as Chairman of the Traverse Theatre and WASPS Trust, and as a Trustee of the Scottish Civic Trust. Laurie began his career as a partner at Robert H. Soper & Co. before founding his own company, Thomas Laurie Associates, in 1977. His contributions greatly impacted the arts community in Scotland until his passing on December 23, 2020.
