Thomas P. Christie is an American defense analyst with extensive experience in military evaluations. Born on May 28, 1934, in Pensacola, Florida, he earned a B.S. in mathematics from Spring Hill College in 1955 and an M.S. in applied mathematics from New York University in 1962. Christie directed the operational evaluation division at the Institute for Defense Analyses for nine years, overseeing analyses of over two hundred major test programs and participating in weapons testing. He became the director of Operational Test and Evaluation in June 2001.
