Thomas W. Beasley, also known as Tom Beasley, is an American lawyer, political activist, and businessman born in 1943. He is notable for his role as chairman of the Tennessee Republican Party. In 1983, he co-founded CoreCivic, previously known as Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), which is a leading private prison management company in the United States. Beasley served as the president and CEO of the company from 1983 to 1987 and then as its chairman until 1994, during which time it grew significantly.
