Thunderstick is the stage name of British drummer Barry Graham (or Barry Purkis). He was briefly the drummer for the heavy metal band Iron Maiden in 1977 before joining Samson. Known for performing in a wrestling-style mask and sometimes inside a cage, his tenure with Iron Maiden was short-lived due to his inability to play well while drunk, even falling asleep during a concert. An uncommon appearance of his face is in the film 'Steel Bicep,' where he stars while his brother-in-law plays with Samson, portraying him.
