Tiago João da Silva (3 December 1988 – 18 December 2005) was a Brazilian robber known as Menino-aranha (spider-boy) for scaling buildings to steal. Starting his criminal activities at age nine, he reportedly climbed more than 40 buildings, including one 14 floors high. His thefts gained notoriety, but his life ended tragically when he was murdered at the age of 17 by unknown assailants.
