Joan 'Tiger' Morse was an American fashion designer born in 1931 in New York. The daughter of architect Morris Henry Sugarman, she studied at Syracuse University. Her career began in the late 1950s, designing dresses for notable figures like Jacqueline Kennedy and Jean Harvey Vanderbilt. She owned a store called A La Carte in New York. In 1967, she appeared in a 33-minute film with Andy Warhol, part of his 25-hour film, Four Stars. Morse tragically died at the age of 40 due to a drug overdose.
