Tim Göbel is a former German sprinter born on March 4, 1982, specializing in the 100-meter dash. He was trained until the end of 2000 with DJK Südwest Köln and became German champion in the 60-meter race. He missed the 2000 Olympics due to a knee injury. In 2001, he became German champion in both the 60 and 100-meter events and won a silver medal at the Junior European Championships. Göbel's career ended after the 2007 season due to family reasons.
