Tim Vollmer, born Timothy William Vollmer on September 13, 1946, in Portland, Oregon, is a former American discus thrower. He earned a silver medal at the Pacific Conference Games in 1969 and again at the 1971 Pan American Games held in Cali. Vollmer finished eighth in the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich and became the US Champion in 1971. His personal best throw of 67.38 meters was achieved on May 16, 1971, in Lancaster.
