Timothy J. Kadavy is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general who served as the 20th director of the Army National Guard from March 27, 2015, to March 25, 2019. His notable roles include serving as the adjutant general of the Nebraska National Guard and the commander of Combined Joint Inter Agency Task Force-Afghanistan. Nominated to be the Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau in March 2019, his nomination was not acted upon by the Senate in January 2020. He retired after over 36 years of service on August 3, 2020.
