Tiruchi N. Parameswaran, born on November 14, 1955, is an Indian chess player who holds the title of International Master since 1982. He was the Indian Champion in 1979 and 1996 and represented India in two Chess Olympiads in 1982 and 1996. Additionally, he participated in the 6th Asian Team Championship in Hangzhou in 1981, where he won a gold medal for his individual performance. Parameswaran gained international recognition in 1982 for defeating Grandmaster D. Velimirović during the Chess Olympiad match between India and Yugoslavia.
