T. M. Garret, born Achim Schmid in 1975 in Mosbach, is a German-American marketing entrepreneur, author, and former right-wing extremist. In the 1990s, he was a musician in the international far-right music scene and founded the European White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, from which he resigned in 2002. He emigrated to the USA in early 2013 and has since become an active advocate against racism and xenophobia, providing support for EXIT programs in Germany and the USA, as well as assisting black communities in Memphis, Tennessee.
