Tolossa Kotu is a former Ethiopian long-distance runner born on December 25, 1952. He competed in the 1972 Munich Olympics, where he was eliminated in the heats of the 5000 meter event. He later achieved a notable fourth place in the 10,000 meters at the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Additionally, he ranked 75th at the 1981 World Cross Country Championships in Madrid and finished fifth in the 5000 meters at the Athletics World Cup held in Rome.
