Tomás Estela Massot is a sailor born in Palma de Mallorca on November 15, 1958. He was the Spanish champion and world champion in 1972 in Karlskrona, Sweden, both individually and with his team in the optimist class. In 1974, he became the Spanish youth champion in the 420 class and won the Youth World Championship with his cousin. The following year, he secured the European championship and was the world runner-up in youth competitions. He continued to win multiple titles, including the Princess Sofia Trophy in 1975.
