Tomàs Ferrer i Sust, also known as el Mico, was a Catalan politician and mayor of el Masnou during the Second Spanish Republic in the 1930s. A merchant by profession, he was a member of the Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya party. Ferrer was elected mayor in November 1931 and re-elected in 1934. He aimed to modernize the town and was involved in the approval of the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia in 1932. During the Spanish Civil War, he participated in collectivizations, later fleeing to Argentina due to political repression.
