He graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a degree in international relations and was part of the university's student theater group, Gekkoza. After graduating, he joined Tose, contributing to the planning and scenario of 'Dragon Quest Monsters.' Alongside his work in game writing, he co-founded Afro 13 with playwright Satomi Nakaya and continues to be involved in theater and film production. He authored 'How to Write Game Scenarios - Learning the Secrets of Character, Structure, and Text from Basics.'
