Tomoyasu Hotei (Japanese: 布袋 寅泰) is a Japanese actor, singer, composer, and record producer, born on February 1, 1962, in Takasaki, Japan. He has a Korean father and a Russian-Japanese mother. Hotei began his music career in 1977 and has released 34 albums, performing in Japanese, English, and Italian. In addition to his music career, he has acted in several Japanese films and has received multiple awards. He is currently married to actress and singer Mickey Imai and resides in London.
