Tony Mulcahy is an Irish former politician associated with the Fine Gael party, born on April 12, 1959. He served in Seanad Éireann after being elected on the Labour Panel in 2011. Prior to that, he was a member of both Clare County Council and Shannon Town Council from 1999 to 2011, representing the Shannon area. He also ran unsuccessfully for a Dáil Éireann seat in the Clare constituency during the 2007 and 2011 elections. Mulcahy held the role of Seanad Spokesperson on Communications, Energy and Natural Resources but lost his Senate seat in 2016.
