Anthony Frank Tremlett was an Anglican archdeacon born on August 25, 1937. He was educated at Plymouth College and worked on the railways before being ordained as a priest in 1982. Tremlett served as a curate, priest in charge, and Vicar of Southway, before becoming Archdeacon of Totnes in 1988 and Archdeacon of Exeter in 1994. He had a son, Andrew, who is also a senior Church of England priest. Tremlett passed away in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, in September 2016.
