Toos Goorhuis-Tjalsma (1915 - January 5, 2004) was a co-creator of the Pieterpad, a renowned long-distance walking route in the Netherlands. Along with her friend Bertje JENS, she conceived the path in 1978 while walking from Groningen to Tilburg. They aimed to create a route that would encourage families to hike together in the Netherlands, where long-distance walking paths were previously nonexistent. Toos is recognized for sketching the itinerary of the Pieterpad, which extends from Pieterburen in the north to Sint Pietersberg in the south.
