Topi Koistinen was a Finnish baseball player born on April 23, 1993, in Hyvinkää. He was a product of Hyvinkään Tahko and remained with the club throughout his career. Koistinen's career in Superpesis began in 2010 and ended in 2012, where he played as a substitute and a catcher. Tragically, he suffered severe injuries in a mass shooting incident in Hyvinkää on May 26, 2012, and died later that day in Töölö Hospital.
