Tor Borch Sannes (May 11, 1940 – January 22, 2007) was a Norwegian journalist, maritime historian, and non-fiction author from Larvik. He published several books focused on maritime themes, most notably 'Christopher Columbus – an European from Norway', which was controversial both nationally and internationally within academic circles. In his later years, he was married to Belgian Jeannie Sannes Munters.
