Victoria Murden McClure, born on March 6, 1963, is an accomplished athlete, adventurer, chaplain, lawyer, and university administrator. Notably, she was the first woman and American to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 1999. Additionally, she achieved the distinction of being the first woman to ski to the geographic South Pole and the first to climb the Lewis Nunatak in Antarctica. Currently, she serves as the president of Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and has held the position of Chair on the Board of the National Outdoor Leadership School.
