Torleif Rekkebo (December 31, 1932 – May 19, 1996) was a Norwegian marathon and ultramarathon runner. He completed 266 marathons, a record for Norwegians until 2005. Rekkebo began running marathons at age 39, later participating in an average of 20 marathons annually. He set a personal best of 2:41:25 in 1977. He completed notable runs, including three from Trondheim to Oslo, breaking the previous record in 1989. Rekkebo was awarded DNL’s hederstegn in 1990, and Trondheim Marathon is named in his honor.
