Torstein Skinnarland (1910-1993) was a Norwegian combined skier known for his contributions to modern slalom. He began his competitive career in 1928 and represented IF Rjukan and Rjukan IL. Notably, he achieved 7th place in the combined event at the 1938 World Championships and secured multiple podium finishes at Holmenkollen. In WWII, he was involved in the Vemork action and imprisoned until the end of the war. In 1977, he was awarded the King's Medal of Merit in silver. He also appeared as himself in the 1948 film 'Kampen om tungtvannet'.
