Tōryū Kenji, born Kenji Tanaka on December 19, 1958, is a former sumo wrestler from Kakogawa, Hyōgo, Japan. Making his professional debut in March 1974, he ascended to the top division by November 1979, achieving the rank of sekiwake, which is one of the highest ranks in sumo. He enjoyed an active career in the sport until his retirement in January 1990.
