After the Hanshin-Awaji earthquake, Tatsumi became a key figure in fundraising efforts to rebuild Tanizaki's former residence. Her literary contributions include novels and essays, alongside a YouTube channel launched in 2020 to promote modern literature. Notably, she also initiated a project in 2021 to construct a virtual reality space replicating Tanizaki's house.
