Toshimitsu Motegi (茂木 敏充) is a Japanese politician born on October 7, 1955. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and belongs to the Tsushima faction. As a representative of Tochigi Prefecture's 5th electoral district, he serves in the House of Representatives of Japan. Motegi has held the position of Minister for Foreign Affairs since the cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on September 11, 2019.
