Könchok Tenzin Kunzang Trinlé Lhundrup, also known as Drikung Chetsang Rinpoché, is the 37th and current holder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage in Tibetan Buddhism. Born on August 1, 1946, in Lhasa, Tibet, he is recognized as the 7th reincarnation of Chetsang Rinpoché, an emanation of Avalokiteshvara. His birth coincided with significant auspicious signs and fulfilled the prediction of his prominent role in the future as the 9th Buddha to intervene on Earth. He currently resides at the Drikung Kagyu Institute in Dehradun, India.
