Trond Jacobsen is a Norwegian parachutist born in 1965, known for being the first to complete a tandem jump over the South Pole on December 6, 1997, alongside Morten Halvorsen. They also performed a tandem jump over the North Pole on April 19, 1998, making them the first in the world to jump tandem at both poles. As of 2024, Jacobsen has performed around 2,800 jumps, including over 300 tandem jumps and is a Norwegian champion in skydiving.
