Troy Raymond Buswell, born on March 19, 1966, is a former Australian politician who served as a Liberal member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from 2005 to 2014, representing Vasse. He was Treasurer of Western Australia during various terms in the Barnett Ministry and briefly served as Leader of the Opposition. Buswell faced controversy due to improper use of ministerial allowances linked to an extramarital affair, leading to his resignation from the ministry in 2010. After struggling with health issues, he resigned from Parliament in September 2014.
