Trygve Kornelius Fjetland was a Norwegian businessperson, born on March 6, 1926, in Jelsa. He graduated with a siv.øk. degree from the Norwegian School of Economics in 1953 and founded the electronics retailer Elektrokjøp, now known as Elkjøp, in 1962. Fjetland served as CEO until 1986 and continued on the company's board. He was awarded the King's Medal of Merit in December 2012 and was an honorary member of Maridalen Rotary. He passed away on October 28, 2013.
