Trygve Johan Lysaker (1917-2004) was a Norwegian historian born in Øymark. He grew up on the Kongerud farm near Slitu. Lysaker earned his degree in Norwegian with minors in German and history from the University of Oslo in 1947. He taught at Harstad municipal higher secondary school from 1947 to 1957 and at Gerhard Schønings skole in Trondheim from 1957 to 1984. Additionally, he served as a curator at the Norwegian Local History Institute from 1956 to 1958 and published several local and church history works.
