Rønningen has been a prominent figure at TV 2 since its inception in 1991, hosting various programs such as Big Brother and Jeopardy. His career includes stints as program director at P4, TV3, and Viasat, leading Mastiff Productions, and serving as CEO of MTG Norge. In 2017, he returned to TV 2 as channel director.
