He performed with Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's trio, participating in significant recordings, including sessions with Lee Konitz and Toots Thielemans. Throughout his career, Okada was involved in 49 recording sessions, working with numerous vocalists. In the late 2000s, he led his own quartet, contributing to the album 'Happiness'.
