Coming from a family with a legacy in creature design, his father created the monster Gamera, and his grandfather worked on Godzilla. Yagi has contributed to various television and film projects, particularly known for his work on the Kamen Rider series and other special effects in Japanese cinema, continuing to uphold the family tradition in monster design.
