Turgay Yıldız was a Turkish theatre actor, director, comedian, playwright, and politician born on March 3, 1965, in Ankara. He graduated in 1987 from Ankara University with a degree in Theatre. Yıldız worked extensively in theatre as a playwright, actor, and director. He also hosted several television programs alongside his friend Bahadır Tokmak. In the 2009 local elections, he was nominated by the Democratic Left Party for the position of Mayor of Çankaya, Ankara. Later, he pursued scriptwriting in Los Angeles.
