Turhan Alçelik is a Turkish ophthalmologist and former politician. He was born on March 5, 1958, in Halkalı, Giresun, Turkey. He graduated from the University of Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1982. He served as a doctor in a health station in Tunceli and then in Sakarya. He specialized in ophthalmology at Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Medical Faculty in Sivas. He was elected as a member of the Turkish Parliament in 1995 and served in the 20th and 21st legislatures. He was a member of the Refah Partisi, Fazilet Partisi, Saadet Partisi, and Halkın Sesi Partisi. He was a member of the Health, Family, Labor, and Social Affairs Committee in Parliament.
