Tyka Evene Nelson is an American singer born on May 18, 1960. She is the daughter of jazz musician John L. Nelson and jazz singer Mattie Della Shaw, and the sister of iconic musician Prince. Tyka has released four albums, and her song 'Marc Anthony's Tune' peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart in July 1988. The song was inspired by her crush on the singer. After Prince's death in 2016, she accepted an American Music Award on his behalf.
